Department of Diagnostic Imaging

Zhicheng will be joining the department as a researcher.  He is an expert in computer science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.  Zhicheng obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Degree at the School of Electronic Engineering in Xidian University Xian, China.  He then completed his PhD in the School of Electronic Engineering at Xidian University.  Following completion of his training in China, he came to the United States where he worked as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.  He followed that with another post-doctoral year at the University of Pennsylvania.  His primary focus of interest is medical imaging analysis, deep learning and computer vision.  As many of you know, Harrison Bai will be leaving us to go to Hopkins.  But Zhicheng will be picking up many of his projects and carrying them forward.
