The Division of Body Imaging and Intervention is one of the most active research sections in the department.
We have over 10 fellowship-trained breast imagers dedicated to improving patient care through education and research.
Our core faculty are dedicated to education and are motivated to help trainees learn the fundamentals of cardiothoracic imaging.
High volume, a wide variety of advanced imaging studies, and the presence of a variety of subspecialists expose residents to a wealth of informative and interesting imaging and a variety of approaches to problem solving.
We are fortunate to have included in our imaging network division I athletes from Brown University, Bryant University, University of Rhode Island, and Providence College as well as minor professional athletes from the Providence Bruins.
The neurointerventional team is world-renowned for their innovative techniques and approach to stroke care delivery.
The Diagnostic Neuroradiology section performs and interprets the full spectrum of brain, spine, and head and neck imaging procedures.
The division provides a full range of therapeutic Nuclear Medicine services and is actively involved in the care of these patients.
The Division of Pediatric Imaging is comprised of six fellowship-trained pediatric radiologists and a physician assistant with a range of experience and expertise in the field of pediatric imaging.
Division areas of interest/expertise include interventional oncology, advanced venous interventions, hepatobiliary interventions, and IR education.
Some of the scholarly pursuits of radiologists in this division include imaging of infertility, ovarian torsion, and abdominal pain in pregnancy.
