Dr. Agarwal is the Vice Chair of Diversity and Inclusion and Associate Professor of Diagnostic Imaging at the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University. He specializes in multimodality cardiac and thoracic imaging including cardiac MRI and coronary CTA, and all modalities of chest imaging including lung cancer screening, high-resolution CT chest, and thoracic MRI. He is invited to give multiple national and regional lectures yearly and is actively involved with research. Dr. Agarwal serves on multiple national committees including those in the American College of Radiology (ACR), American Board of Radiology (ABR), Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), Society of Thoracic Radiology (STR), Association of University Radiologists (AUR), and American Roentgen Ray Society (ARRS). He is on the Executive Council for the national Society of Thoracic Radiology, serving as the Chair of the Abstracts and Awards Committee. Dr. Agarwal was the President of the Rhode Island Radiologic Society for the 2020-2021 year, and currently serves as one of two Councilors for the state of Rhode Island.
