Department of Radiology

Dr. Cannavo is a Florida native, born in Winter Park. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. From there, he returned to Florida to attend the Florida International University Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where he earned his Medical Degree and was awarded both the Dean’s Scholarship and the Diefenthal Family Scholarship. Dr. Cannavo spent his preliminary year in Internal Medicine right here at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
