
Rajeev Subu, MD
Biography
Dr. Subu is a Georgia native, born in Fort Stewart. He received his Bachelor’s degree from The University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia where he studied Biology and Neuroscience. He then spent two years in Baltimore, Maryland at the National Institute on Drug Abuse where he studied the effects of methamphetamine on autophagy and apoptosis on the rat dorsal striatum. His biggest highlight was winning the 11 aside soccer league with his NIH team. Dr. Subu received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia. For his transitional year, he stayed in Georgia at Northside Gwinnett Hospital, where he thoroughly enjoyed the incredibly diverse food in Duluth, GA. Dr. Subu is an avid Arsenal fan. He enjoys cooking Keralan and Middle Eastern food, reading, birdwatching, exercise, and learning new things.
