Department of Diagnostic Imaging

Dr. Abubaker-Sharif is a Maryland native, born in Salisbury, although grew up mostly in Baltimore County. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Johns Hopkins University where he pursued Biomedical Engineering. Dr. Abubaker-Sharif received his Medical Degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA where he was awarded two scholarships and received several clinical honors. For his preliminary intern year, Dr. Abubaker-Sharif returned to Maryland and received training at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. In his free time, Dr. Abubaker-Sharif enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, going on road trips, and learning new languages.
