Krista Suarez-Weiss, MD
Biography
Krista Suarez-Weiss, originally from Barrington, Rhode Island, completed her undergraduate studies at Harvard College and medical school at Tufts University. She began her radiology residency at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA, before finishing as chief resident at Brown University in Providence, RI. During her training, she received the Resident Teaching award and the Dean’s teaching award from Warren Alpert medical school.
After completing an Abdominal Imaging fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Krista joined the staff at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2020. There, she held educational roles and received the George Marina Residency Teaching Award. She also served as Assistant Division Chief for Abdominal Imaging and Intervention and was involved in women’s imaging research. She is excited to join Brown as the Associate Residency Program Director! In her spare time, she enjoys chasing around her three kids and is working on learning Spanish.
