Dr. Hewett originally comes from Lexington, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts, where she majored in the field of Chemistry and graduated with great distinction in Biology. She stayed in Massachusetts to earn her Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Dr. Hewett spent her preliminary year in Medicine at Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. Dr. Hewett is also a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society. She enjoys painting, drawing, and art history.
