Dr. Tung is a cum laude graduate of Yale College (1978) and Washington University School of Medicine (1982). He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (1985), and residency and fellowship in diagnostic radiology at the Massachusetts General Hospital (1989). Dr. Tung is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (1985) and by the American Board of Radiology in both diagnostic radiology (1989) and neuroradiology (1996, 2006), and is a Fellow of the American College of Radiology (2002). His research interests are in musculoskeletal imaging and neuroradiology. He is Professor of Diagnostic Imaging (2004), Chief of the Division of Imaging Research in the Department of Diagnostic Imaging (1997) and Associate Dean for Clinical Affairs at the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University (2009).
