Department of Radiology

Dr. Alvarez is from Miami, Florida and received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Miami. He attended medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada where he graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Alvarez completed his Transitional Year at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and then went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology residency at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey, where he also served as chief resident. Dr. Alvarez continued his training with an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He enjoys gardening in his spare time.
