Dr. Yoo is the Director of Nuclear Medicine and a Professor of Diagnostic Imaging, Clinician Educator at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Yoo has specialized training in nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET). His main area of interest is in oncologic applications of PET.
Dr. Yoo is the Director of Medical Student Radiology Education and the Co-director of the General Radiology Elective and is heavily involved in teaching radiology residents and medical students at The Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Yoo has given many nuclear medicine and PET/CT talks at national meetings and been a Grand Rounds speaker at several academic institutions. Dr. Yoo is involved with several national organizations including the American College of Radiology (ACR) where he is the Chair of the ACR Commission on Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging. Dr. Yoo is the Co-Course Director for the ACR Nuclear Medicine Course and a regular faculty member for the ACR – Dartmouth PET/CT Course.
