Department of Radiology

Dr. Ashok was born in India and lived briefly in Germany before eventually settling in Portland, Oregon, which he still considers home. He earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester and received his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He completed his transitional year at Hackensack Meridian Palisades Medical Center in New Jersey, where he adopted his orange cat, Paul Atreides. Dr. Ashok enjoys the great outdoors, marathon running, traveling in search of great food, and watching sports. He is a devoted supporter of Bayern München and the German national team.
