Afshin Ameri, MD

Biography
Dr. Ameri was born in Tehran, Iran, and moved to Toronto, Canada at the age of 15. He earned his undergraduate degree in Engineering Science from the University of Toronto focusing on Biomedical Systems Engineering with a minor in Robotics. He received his Medical Degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Ameri completed his preliminary year at Greater Baltimore Medical Center, followed by a radiology residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He went on to complete a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Ameri enjoys staying active, going for runs, and playing soccer.
