Dr. Omar was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and raised in Auburn, Maine. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts, where he studied Biology and Neuroscience. Dr. Omar received his Medical Degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the UMass Chan Medical School, where he was awarded Intern of the Year. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, keeping active, and traveling.
